With just six simple ingredients, and a rich cinnamon-molasses taste, these bliss balls are the perfect sweet snack for any time of day.
Welcome to the first day of cookie challenge week 2018! What is the cookie challenge? Click here to see my post about it from last year. But basically, it's around the time of year when I created my blog. A week of new, original cookie recipes, one recipe each day! Last year was kind of a fail, with only three recipes, spread out over a few weeks. But I've prepared myself this year, and I think this week is gonna be a success. Stay tuned for a variety of awesome, VEGAN cookie recipes through the coming week!!!
This is the first time I've made bliss balls! Are they like vegan energy bites?! Who knows, but they're super fun and easy. What other flavors would you want to see? Comment below!
So what are the ingredients? Old fashioned oats, almond butter, molasses, brown sugar, maple syrup, and cinnamon. Literally just blended in a food processor. So not only are these super easy, but they don't take long to make! Blend, chill, and shape. Easy snack just like that!
Recently, I've been brainstorming ways to reduce the amount of oil in my recipes. This recipe does happen to be oil free, as long as you make sure that the almond butter doesn't have any oil in it. It's best if almonds are the only ingredient. These are also raw if you use raw almond butter (you could make your own)! Any thoughts on these types of healthier recipes?
Read the recipe down below, and share with your friends! Be sure to check back tomorrow...Stay humble, creative, and kind!❤
